Harnessing the power of women’s leadership for a sustainable future

The Women’s Climate Congress was established in 2020 to address climate change through inclusion, collaboration, and women’s leadership. Recognising the exclusion of women from key decision-making, the Congress empowers women to foster cooperation and transformative climate action. Engaging thousands across Australia and internationally, it creates spaces for dialogue, shared wisdom, and nonpartisan leadership to drive a sustainable and equitable future.

We believe women’s leadership is vital to shift political culture from division to unity by placing the care of Earth and the nurturing of life at the center of decision-making. United as a network of resilient, hopeful custodians, we strive to protect and restore our planet to create a sustainable future for all.
