Creation of a national plan for climate action
It has been the vision of the Congress from the outset for women to lead a process to bring diverse people together for an independently mediated multistakeholder dialogue process to develop a unified Nationall PLanb for action to address climate risks.
We were very grateful for the generous assistance of experienced mediator, Rhian Williams, who has worked in the public policy space for over 30 years, to develop our proposal, which we first submitted to Mr Angus Taylor's office (then Minister for Climate Change and Energy) on 20 November, 2020.
The paper has subsequently been updated to suit the changes make up of the Albanese Labor Government.
